4" Chinese Money Plant

Chinese Money Plant (Pilea peperomioides)

Chinese Money Plant is a charming houseplant with perfectly round, glossy green leaves that resemble little coins. Its playful, umbrella-like foliage grows on slender stems, creating a unique, modern look that's perfect for windowsills, desks, shelves, or anywhere that could use a little greenery.

Also known as the Pancake Plant, UFO Plant, or Friendship Plant, this Pilea is relatively easy to care for and loves bright indirect light. It's especially popular for producing little baby plants, called pups, around its base. These can eventually be separated and shared with friends, making it a plant that keeps on giving.

Care Tips:
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light, rotate occasionally to encourage even growth
💧 Water: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry between waterings, avoid soggy soil
🌫 Humidity: Average household humidity is usually fine, but appreciates moderate humidity
❄️ Temperature: Thrives around 60 to 80°F, protect from cold drafts
🐾 Pet Friendly: Yes
⭐ Rare: No

Fun Fact:
Chinese Money Plant earned the nickname Friendship Plant because it's famous for producing baby plants that can be separated and given away. One plant can turn into an entire little family, so it's basically the houseplant version of bringing a friend to the party. 🌿🪙
